Fulvio Di Piazza is an Italian artist born in 1969 in Siracusa, Italy. He studied at Urbino Art Academy. He paints fantastical scenes with lush forests, spiraling volcanic smoke, islands in the sky, and vividly colored sun light. His artworks are surreal detailed landscapes inspired by the work of political and economic theorist Jeremy Rifkin, in particular his book Entropy (1980). People often interpret his works as pessimistic.
